Karen Turley, is a dedicated and passionate nurse with over 15 years of experience in Nurse-led clinics. Throughout her nursing career, Karen has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing the highest standard of care to her patients. She has spent over a decade specialising in women’s health at Daisy Hill Hospital, where she honed her skills in Cytology, Gynaecology, Urodynamics, Gum & Sexual health services.

Karen has always been passionate about empowering women to take control of their health and wellbeing. Her commitment to providing the highest level of care to her patients has earned her a reputation as a leading specialist in women’s health.

After leaving Daisy Hill Hospital, Karen decided to take her skills and expertise to the next level. She is a prescribing practice nurse in a Local General Practice Surgery, where she works in various areas of health including Asthma, COPD & Spirometry. In addition to her general nursing duties, Karen also administers vaccinations, intramuscular injections, subcutaneous injections, and more, as part of her daily care routine. 

Karen has received specialised training from the renowned Array Aesthetics Academy in Belfast along with advanced practices at Dr Bonny’s Academy, which has enhanced her knowledge further.

When she’s not busy caring for her patients, Karen enjoys exploring her creative side by performing on stage with a local musical theatre company. She finds joy in being part of a vibrant and supportive community of fellow performers.

Karen enjoys spending quality time with her family of two boys, a girl, and their energetic cockapoo “Archie”. She values maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and frequently participates in fitness activities such as hiking and going to the gym. Karen also loves exploring new places and trying new things, whether it’s discovering a new hiking trail or sampling new cuisine. In her free time, she enjoys reading and unwinding after a busy day at work.
