I offer Seventy HYAL, Belotero Revive and Profhilo for hydration and skin-quality concerns, with Profhilo options for the face or neck. I assess your skin and explain how the products differ before recommending a treatment or course.
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve skin hydration, texture and overall skin quality.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, they're not about adding volume or changing the shape of your face. Instead, they focus on improving the condition of your skin from within.
Using a series of small injections, hyaluronic acid is placed into the skin to help attract and retain moisture, improving hydration, elasticity and the appearance of fine lines.
Skin boosters can be used on areas such as the face, neck and décolletage, depending on the product.
Results develop gradually, and a course of treatments may be recommended depending on your skin and what we'd like to achieve.
05 / Frequently asked questions
Before you decide. Your questions answered.
I will talk through anything specific to your skin, health or treatment at your free consultation.
Do skin booster injections hurt?+
You may feel a pinch or stinging at the injection points, with tenderness afterwards. The sensation depends on the product and area. I explain suitable comfort measures before treatment.
When will I see results?+
Skin-quality changes develop over the weeks after treatment and may become clearer as you complete a course. For Seventy HYAL, changes can become noticeable early, with a clearer response around two weeks. Profhilo and Belotero Revive follow their own treatment plans; I explain the expected timeline for your choice.
How long do results last?+
These treatments are temporary, and each product has a different maintenance plan. Seventy HYAL guidance gives a range of around six to twelve months after a completed course, with individual variation. I discuss the expected duration of Profhilo or Belotero Revive separately rather than apply that range to every booster.
Will I have bumps, bruising or downtime?+
Small raised injection points, redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising can occur. Give yourself recovery time rather than assume you will have no visible marks. I explain the likely reactions for your product and provide aftercare, including when to contact me.
How many appointments should I plan for?+
Profhilo usually starts with two treatments about four weeks apart. I offer three-treatment courses of Seventy HYAL and Belotero Revive; Seventy HYAL appointments are generally spaced about four weeks apart. I agree the number and spacing with you after assessment.
How often will I need a top-up?+
Maintenance depends on the product, your skin and how you respond. Seventy HYAL guidance suggests a top-up within six to twelve months. I review your skin before recommending further treatment; Profhilo and Belotero Revive have separate plans.
Are skin boosters the same as facial filler?+
They have different treatment goals. Here, I use skin boosters for hydration and skin quality, while facial filler is used for specific changes to shape or volume. I will explain the product and whether it fits the change you want.
Can I book if I am unsure which product to choose?+
Yes. Start with a free 20-minute consultation. Tell me about your skin concerns, current routine, previous treatments and health history, and I will explain suitable options without asking you to choose a product first.
