From assessment
to your filler treatment.

We'll start by reviewing your consultation, discussing your concerns and agreeing on a treatment plan together.

I use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to gently restore lost volume, soften lines and enhance facial features while keeping results natural.

Depending on the area being treated, I'll use either a fine needle or a cannula, a small, blunt-tipped tube that allows me to place filler carefully beneath the skin.

Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before treatment, and we'll take our time to make sure you're comfortable throughout.

You may experience some swelling, tenderness or bruising afterwards, and I'll talk you through what to expect, your aftercare and when to contact me if you have any concerns.

what to expect.

I will talk through anything specific to your skin, health or treatment at your free consultation.

Do I need to choose an amount before booking?

No. I can explain 0.5 ml, 0.7 ml and 1 ml lip options or a wider facial plan at your free assessment. I will explain what I recommend and why, so you can decide with a clear idea of the cost.

Will my lips or face look overfilled?

My aim is balance and a result that suits your features. I discuss the amount, placement and change you are comfortable with before treatment. There are limits to what filler can achieve, and I may recommend a smaller change or no treatment.

Does filler treatment hurt?

You may feel a pinch, pressure or tenderness during the injections. Some fillers contain local anaesthetic. I will explain the product and suitable comfort measures before we begin; treatment is not completely sensation-free.

How much swelling or bruising should I expect?

Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common after filler. These often settle within days but can last around two weeks. Lips may look fuller initially because of swelling, so give them time to settle before judging the result.

When will I see the result, and how long does it last?

You may see a change straight away, but swelling can affect the early appearance. Allow around two weeks for common injection-site reactions to settle. The length of time filler lasts depends on the product, area and individual response; I will explain this for your plan.

Can I book before a wedding or holiday?

Tell me your date before we plan treatment. Leave several weeks for swelling or bruising to settle and for any review. A first filler appointment close to an important event is a poor time to rush a decision.

What risks should I know about?

Alongside swelling and bruising, risks include infection, lumps and allergic reactions. Rarely, filler can block a blood vessel, damaging skin or affecting vision. I explain these risks and warning signs before treatment. Sudden visual changes need urgent medical help.

What happens if I have a concern afterwards?

Contact the clinic promptly using your aftercare instructions. Do not wait for a routine review if pain is severe or increasing, or if the skin becomes unusually pale or discoloured. If you have a sudden visual change, seek emergency medical help immediately.
